Scholarships & Financial Support
We are committed to making preschool affordable for all families. Through state programs and local support, we offer multiple ways to reduce tuition costs.
Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK)
Children who turn 4 by October 1 are eligible for 10–15 hours/week of free preschool through Colorado UPK.
Families must apply through the state portal.
AVP Scholarships
Thanks to generous donors and grant funding, we offer need-based scholarships to families.
Scholarships may cover a portion of tuition beyond what UPK provides.
Applications are reviewed confidentially, and awards are based on available funding.
Micro-Scholarships
Community supporters sponsor small monthly tuition offsets (e.g., $50–$100 per month).
These add up to meaningful support for families while connecting the broader community to our mission.
Other Supports
We accept Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) subsidies for qualifying families.
Families can also apply for tuition support through specific grant-funded opportunities, announced each year.
Our Commitment
We never want tuition to be the reason a child cannot attend AVP. If cost feels like a barrier, please reach out — together, we’ll explore every option to support your family.
